Baby Shower Game Ideas

1. Gift Registry Bingo (a.k.a. “Shower Bingo”, “Baby Bingo", “Gift Bingo”) is the latest trend in baby shower games. Watching someone else open gifts for an hour is dull for the shower guests, and they feel obligated to fake ooh’s and ahh’s over items like diapers and outlet covers. Gift Registry Bingo injects life into the party by making the gift opening portion interactive. Each guest receives a bingo board with the purchased registry gifts scrambled onto the tiles. As the mom-to-be opens a gift, the guests mark that off their bingo board. Instead of sitting idle, the guests now participate and often cheer for “All I need is ‘pacifiers’, open a small one!” etc. This is a must have game at any shower.

3. Guess How Many Safety Pins is a simple game. Pass around a jar full of baby safety pins. The one who guesses the closest wins!

4. Identify the Baby takes a little prep work, but it pays off. Ask each guest to provide you with a baby picture of herself prior to the baby shower. Have all the pictures in a collage and number each one. Give each guest a sheet where they can fill in who they think the babies are out of the girls at the baby shower. If most women don't know each other, provide a word bank of names. Great way to get to know one another!

5. Scrambled Baby Words Game is a fun brainteaser to play in a group. Give each guest a list of scrambled words such as pacifier, stork, teddy bear, blanket, etc and challenge them to unscramble as many as they can in 2-3 minutes. The guest that figures out the most correctly wins the prize.
